About Us
The aim of the Holistic Training Centre is to offer a range of Courses/Workshops & Therapies to assist you in your journey; whether towards a career in complementary therapies or to enable you to live a balanced, stress-free life, encompassing elements of personal development. Whatever your focus, it is generally recognised that the overall effect of complementary therapy, is of bringing your Mind Body & Spirit into a state of unity.
We currently offer Reiki, Crystal Therapy, EFT, Life Coaching, Indian Head Massage & Hopi Ear Candling along with various workshops for Professional & Personal Development.
The practice has been established for ten years & is run by Jo' & Peter Horsfall.
Jo' has followed a path of both Spiritual & Personal Growth for many years. She first became aware of Reiki in 1997. As a result of the benefits she found personally, her fascination grew, leading her to take her Master training in early 2000.
Since that time, she has developed her practice & has taught Reiki to many students, in small groups at Clacton-on-Sea, Brightlingsea & Manningtree.
All courses are currently taught at the purpose-built training centre, opened in 2003, which is constantly referred to as a having a "peaceful, tranquil quality", with the "ability to refresh the soul". Come along & experience it for yourself!
In addition to Tibetan/Usui Reiki, Jo' is also qualified in Life Coaching, Crystal Therapy & Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); she runs BABTAC approved courses in Indian Head Massage & is a Master in Seichem & Egyptian Cartouche.
Peter, having spent the last eleven years working in Education, contributes to the Practice with his expertise in Management & Marketing abilities.
